Ipamorelin (10 mg Vial)

RESEARCH & EDUCATIONAL REFERENCE GUIDE

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide investigated as a growth hormone secretagogue[2]. Selectivity observed in preclinical experiments does not establish comparative human safety or a personal administration schedule.

What is Ipamorelin?

Research overview based on the cited scientific literature.

• Goal: Stimulate endogenous growth hormone release to support anabolic processes related to muscle growth, fat metabolism, and tissue repair[1][2].

• Storage: Lyophilized refrigerated or frozen; reconstituted refrigerated; use within ~4 weeks.

Storage Instructions

Proper storage preserves peptide quality.

• Lyophilized: Store at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F) for short-term or −20 °C (−4 °F) for long-term storage in dry, dark conditions[10][11].

• Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F); use within ~4 weeks with bacteriostatic water[12]. For longer storage, freeze aliquots at −20 °C (−4 °F) and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles[11].

• Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to reduce condensation uptake[10].

How is Ipamorelin studied?

The cited preclinical study examined growth-hormone release in rat pituitary cells, rats and swine. Its hormone-selectivity findings must be interpreted within those experimental models[2].

In a human pharmacokinetic study, healthy male volunteers received intravenous infusions. Growth-hormone responses peaked at approximately 0.67 hours; this was not a subcutaneous administration study[4].

A 21-day experiment in young female rats evaluated subsequent growth-hormone release from pituitary cells. It does not establish a human cycling schedule[5].

A randomized postoperative-ileus study used intravenous ipamorelin in bowel-resection patients. It found no statistically significant differences in its key or secondary efficacy analyses compared with placebo[6].

What does the research report about Ipamorelin?

Observations from preclinical and clinical literature.

• Supports increases in lean body mass and improvements in recovery through GH-mediated anabolic processes[1][2].

• Enhances fat metabolism and supports favorable body composition changes over time[1].

• High selectivity for GH release with minimal impact on other hormones (ACTH, cortisol, prolactin)[1][3].

• May support improved gastric motility and digestive function[6].

• Generally well tolerated with a low incidence of side effects at typical doses[3].

• Occasional mild injection-site reactions (redness, swelling) may occur; very rare reports of water retention or increased hunger.

Research Limitations / Risk Notes

The cited studies used different experimental models, populations and routes. Animal findings and short-term intravenous studies do not establish long-term human safety, subcutaneous equivalence or a personal cycling or administration schedule[2][4][5][6].
